Seattle roots rockers The Moondoggies did a quick performance for us at the Dickies homebase at the 2011 SXSW Festival.
The quartet performed their tune "Empress of the North" from their Tidelands album with a single guitar and a banjo. Check it out and sway away.

Hailing all the way from the Netherlands, The Black Atlantic made a special stop at the Dickies House during the 2011 SXSW madness.
The guys stripped their tune, “Ella,” down to a single acoustic guitar and three-part harmonies.

While enjoying multiple bands, drinks, food and unforgettable good times at the Dickies home-base at the 2011 SXSW Festival, we pulled some bands aside and interviewed them. Rather than simply ask artists questions, we decided to let fate have its way and played Plinko to determine what was asked.
Black Lips were truly good sports when we asked them to show us their yoga skills, fire their booking agent, freestyle rap and more. Check out the madness below.

Chuck Ragan brought his folk/rock/punk style to the Dickies Showroom while on a break from his tour with Social Distortion.
Some may recognize Chuck Ragan from the Florida-based punk band, Hot Water Music, but as of 2006, Mr. Ragan has been writing and performing his own brand of folk-punk. He and his bandmates were nice enough to share their tune, "Let It Rain" with us.

Los Angeles dwelling collective, Robotanists, graced our Dickies Showroom with their indie-pop tunes.
The group stripped down their soul-pop song, "ON/OFF The Ledge," from their album, Plans In Progress, to an intimate acoustic rendition just for Dickies.
